√••Accept and understand that you need quiet
time alone to recharge. Plan for ‘recharge’
time in your schedule, or else you will
become quickly overwhelmed during a
long, busy day.
√••Don’t pretend to be someone you are not;
it will only bring upon exhaustion and
unhappiness.
√••It’s okay to cross the street or turn another
direction to avoid making small talk.
√••Step forward and connect with a fellow
quiet introvert. It may be challenging to
make the first move, but the relationship
will be one to treasure.
√••Don’t be ashamed about being an
Introvert. Tell your friends that you are an
introvert and that you have certain needs
that may be different to their own.
√••Make sure to attend the important social
functions and then allow yourself to pass
up on others – guilt free.
√ ••When possible, allow time to arrive early
and observe new situations before having
to dive-in and join.
