Question on purpose / career -
"why do people live to the
fulfillment of their assignment and do away with their purpose? "
Answer -According to the "Oxford dictionary,"
An ASSIGNMENT,
" is a task or piece of work allocated to someone as part of a job or course of study |the allocation of a job or task to someone. " also,
According to the "Oxford dictionary, "
A PURPOSE,
"Is the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exist. "
Therefore, "your assignment creates opportunities while your purpose craves for impact on the sands of time." -By Somto Okeke Charles
life has two faces so do a
man. For God himself created the heaven and the earth, formed man and also gave him the qualities of two things ( two eyes to see things differently from others, two legs, hands, ears. and most important of all "an assignment and a purpose to fulfill. ") but we fulfill one and fore go the other.that's why I see a lot of successful men even with their riches live a life filled with sadness because they left a portion in their life vacant thinking it's of no use .let me site an
example a pregnant woman climbing a lader can never run at a fast drive with a little boy also climbing the same ladder. due to the load which she carries which most of us have not dealt with..(this is my grief against
the upcoming generation in which most speakers live untouched).
"success is not determined by the amount of change seen, but by the amount of impact recognized. "
By- Somto Okeke Charles .
success is depicted by ones impact backed with persistence seen by others. For example, who recognizes a bank worker who earns a huge salary ? (Nobody!!!). But we recognize the founder of such bank, why? because he runs with vision known as "assignment" and motivate his staffs as his "purpose" to see a performing team.
We are an entity with an "assignment" and a defined "purpose". So define your today and live fulfilled...
Note : we as individuals call an "assignment" a "TASK" while the religious fanatics call our "purpose" a "CALL" given to us from God.
